Missionary Outreach Support Services

Welcome

Allow me to introduce our services and highlight what it is we do. If you ask most people what a missionary's life is like, they will probably describe experiences characterized by powerful church services, exciting adventures, and exotic people and places. What most people don't think about are the internal struggles and everyday psychological hardships that go hand-in-hand with that line of work. They don't seem to understand that it can be very frustrating, emotionally draining and desperately lonely.

Our goal is to provide an online community so that missionaries can support one another through difficult issues and trying times. We do this in a number of ways. First, we have a Referral Wiki where missionaries can anonymously post contact information for health providers. For example, if I'm serving in Amsterdam and have been helped by a therapist or physician, then I can post that information so that other missionaries in Amsterdam can get directions (and a map!) and contact that person to set up an appointment.

A second way is through our Member Library. Missionaries can share - via uploading and downloading - information to support one another. This includes word documents, PDFs, powerpoints, MP3s, and videos. Third, missionaries can interact by invitation into out network. There are several other areas that are helpful to explore. Please contact us (support@missionaryoutreach.net) if you have any additional suggestions or ideas.

In addition to the community component, we also offer confidential and private email consultation. Our email service is professional and confidential. At a recommended fee of $10.00 per consultation, our services are very reasonable.
