I’m the Rules Girl, and this is Splendor, a light Eurogame of jewel crafting for 2-4 players. In Splendor, players are gem merchants, using gem tokens to purchase valuable development cards, and competing with each other to become the most reputable jewel crafter of the Renaissance. 1. I understand almost everything apart from on the pc game it doesn't let you reserve a card that you can afford already with tokens or cards etc. But I do this on the board game version against my partner just to grab a gold coin for a card that I know I'll purchase on my next turn anyway. Is this allowed?

  2. just started playing this, the rules are a bit confusing around the reserving a card bit, we've been playing it so that you can reserve a card with a gold token, that gets put to one side next to your cards but the prestige points it wields obviously don't count until you've bought it, but you also can't use the gold token until you've bought it??

  3. Can you exchange tokens for other colors on your turn? I can’t find this in the rules but the people I play with say you can. Also, can you exchange a token for a gold to reserve? Also is it true you can reserve a card from the draw pile? I saw this on some rules. TYIA!

  4. I just played this with my Family and I have a Very Important Question:
Can you use the gold token for any other card then the Reserve Card that you grabbed it for?

  5. I agree your voice is much more pleasant and doesn’t sound forced on small world. Otherwise I still love your videos just want the more relaxed tone.

  6. And my wishlist for rules videos; Terraforming Mars, 7 Wonders, Blood Rage, Dead of Winter (omg plz would pay you).

  7. Also, just my opinion but I prefer the voice over style from some of the older videos. Not the sound quality or level, but the pitch of your voice? Compare Small World to this one, Small World is perfect, while this one sounds like someone trying really hard to smile and sound happy. It is isn't necessary and a bit distracting. Small World sounds much more natural but still "friendly". 🙂

  8. Good explanation but can't help but noticed that this video sound slower and different then the previous video
