The X55 Rhino, the top of the line flight sim accessory from Saitek, should provide a high quality flying experience for any flying game enthusaist. But does it? I guess there’s only one way to find out…

  1. Glad you mention Elite Dangerous could you please do a VR review with different headsets and levels of cpu/gpu? Pleeeese

  2. I'd always go for a yoke anyways

Joysticks are good if you like fighters and stuff, but for me

    yoke me daddy

  3. I have one of their first HOTAS setups, think it's the 45? And while it's perfectly fine the thing that has kept me from using it all these years is that damned clunky recentering plate. I simply cannot make fine input adjustments because of it. And my old unit doesn't have the spring kit so it's like trying to fly with a coil-over shock instead of a nice smooth stick.

  4. sure there are bugs but I've been playing star Citizen for a few years and trust me it has come a long long way from the start. 3.9 is very playable and pretty fun, and they are constantly adding new stuff, missions and patch fixes etc.

I would recommend anyone to play the game themselves during fleet week or to purchase it, (it's only 40$) before you make an opinion on the game.
I love elite dangerous as well but I dont think it will ever catch up to the detail and love that star citizen has brought to space sims.

I personally think star citizen will never be "finished" because there is always going to be more stuff to add and fix, but I'm okay with that. As a programmer star citizen is a work of art, and the people who work on it care verry much about their project. And the community is great. And plus I'm fairly sure that the makers of star citizen are fans of elite dangerous, I dont think they are competing against each other. I'd say the games are different enough to stand on their own, they are trying to achieve different goals with their games.

  5. Lodging my incredulity at Star Citizen not being released in 2020, so I can come back in 2025 and bump this thread.

  6. I had a Saitek Pacific AV8R, replaced it with the Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog Throttle and Stick. So much better!

  7. If it’s not your thing, I don’t even know why you review it. You could be promoting something that falls apart in a year or is completely inadequate for people who are seriously into that hobby.

  8. "with star citizen coming out eventually"
And they said they will announce beta this year, 2020, 5 years after this vid AHAHAHAH
